Snowflakes!

Okay - so I don't know why I have never thought of stealing Jolie @ Shaking the Money Tree's Snowflake Tracking Idea before, but after seeing how much extra she was able to pay, I totally need to track just out of pure curiosity! She was able to track $4,350 in Snowflakes!!!! WOW That is all I have to say about that!

My Rules - a snowflake will include any amount of money that goes above the minimum payment for a targeted card.

This is going to be fun!!!! Thanks Jolie!

Yes you need to keep track of them. Believe me they add up and in the end they boost you up because you see what you have accomplished.

I once made a 7.00 payment on my car and have made small payments above my minimum on my cc and cards any time I can. I don't let them sit I get them right out!

It's definitely a neat experiment and all those little bits add up.

Hey, great idea! I'm going to give this one a go too this year. Let's see how far I get!
Have a good New Year's and a great 2012

I'm with you on this one. Though I won't be counting snowballs, I suppose my snowflakes will be relatively small compared to that, but still track worthy.

Keeping track of every cent is the best way to stay accountable. Also - whatever you pay above and beyond goes to principal NOT interest and helps reduce overall interest costs - an extra bonus!

Not only fun. It will be of great benefit. It will surprise you how small things can grow.
