Bring On November

Wow - Did I just totally miss October??? Even though it was filled with things to do - I am happy to report that I did get a bunch accomplished! I indeed did get two small CCs PIF! Wahoo!!!! And with that brings the fact that I was able to reduce my family's debt by $1254!!!! That is definately an exciting number to see! (just think if I wasn't paying interest how much it would have been - but not going to go there because I will just feel defeated and I feel pretty damn good right now!)

Here were my list of goals

~ No Credit Card Use --- did good
~ $100 (DD's 6th Birthday) --- I pulled out $100 cash & that was all I used!!!
~ Entertainment $50 - $20 (pumpkins)
~ Groceries - $250 - $222.82
~ Misc - $50 - $75
~ School - $100 - $35

not bad :) a bit up on the misc, but also down on everything else!

This month is going to be pretty much the same... just stick to budget like I have been and I also need to get back into my coupons... this past few months I haven't been very worried about my coupons or deals & my stockpile is very low downstairs... time to get back into the swing of things!

Christmas Shopping....
DD - just need a few things
my dad - still need to do
dh dad - polo style shirt
stepdad - slippers & a coffee mug
my mom - slippers

Pretty good! My goal this month is going to get dh dad done - my stepdad and my mom... shouldn't be too bad hard to get accomplished.

How was your October? Are you ready for the start of the 'holiday season'???

My Oct was horrid, I've vowed that November will be a new start to how we live $$ wise.

Between refraining from credit card use and paying down $1,254.00, I'd say your progress in October has been huge!

Sorry I wrote a typo on my first comment to you.

I was saying that I wanted to do a celebratory dance for the PIF CC's for you! Go JP! Go JP!

Wahoo!!! Thanks everyone !!!! As always - I could not have done it without all of you!!! For some reason, I don't want to let my bloggie friends down! :)

WOW! Way to knock off those credit cards! You go girl! And kudos for getting your holiday planned so it doesn't end up being a budget buster. :)
