Okay --- Here is how June went for me --- Total Debt went down a little over 1%! itis now at 11.5% paid in full --- small step, but a nice one! (until I tally next month... gulp) We did spend $132.63 in unnecessary spending out of pocket (our trip was on a cc..another gulp there) But with that unnecessary - we still came in $16.61 under our June projected budget! I will take that (now if I hadn't spent any $ throughout the month...)
My July Goals are nothing too exciting -- I really need to just get back to basics here.
1 - stay within my cash budget for the week
2 - no new debt!!!
3 - put some $ towards current snowball
See - nothing too hard to reach... I need to take a small step to get it in check. My current snowball is a 0% that has to be paid in full by October 09. the balance is currently $796.99 ~ I can do it - I know I can. If I can get this little bill pif by when I need to, it will do wonders for my confidence & ego!!! So it is not an option to not meet this goal (I need the lift, you know?!)
Nothing else huge on our horizon. This week should be a quiet week for us, thankfully! Although we do have a family reunion to attend, that will cost the gas to get there which will be probably about $30 ~ a dish to share ~ canoeing costs. So it may set us back about $50 --- why do things add up so quickly?!?!?!
Good luck with your july goals!!!

They definitely do add up quickly but it is a family reunion so it's more of a special event rather than just running off to buy a new pair of shoes or munchies at the convenience store. Have a great time at the reunion.
Aren't finances boring sometimes? ;)
But you have some great goals there and are doing great in paying your debts down. Have a wonderful time at the family reunion!
You paid down debt by 1% in one month? That's AWESOME! Seems like we both have 0% cc debt that needs to be paid off by October. Good luck!
You're doing great. Little steps add up. Have fun at your family reunion! :)
